The Ducati Scrambler Icon in yellow is available at Rs 7.68 lakh (on-road Delhi) across Ducati India dealerships. Test rides are being offered to prospective customers and attractive finance schemes are also available
The Ducati Scrambler  Icon Yellow is available and on sale across Ducati India dealerships at a price of Rs 7.68 lakh (on-road Delhi).
Ducati dealerships in the NCR have already started offering test rides to prospective customers and bookings are being accepted for Rs 50,000 and deliveries are expected to begin soon. The Scrambler Icon Red is available for Rs 7.56 lakh (on-road Delhi).
The Scrambler is available at attractive finance schemes too, with a minimum down payment of Rs 1.2 lakh and EMIs at Rs 21,434 and Rs 14,485 for 36 months and 60 months respectively.
For a down payment of just over Rs 1.5 lakh, the Scrambler Icon Yellow is available for as low as Rs 13,671 EMI for five years, Rs 16,184 EMI for four years and Rs 20,412 EMI for three years.
The Scrambler will be Ducati's least expensive offering in the Indian market and will offer a much more affordable option than the likes of the Kawasaki Z800 or the Triumph Street Triple, both acclaimed mid-sized street bikes currently on sale in India.
What makes the Scrambler so attractive is firstly, the price tag and more importantly, the classic retro looks harking back to simple, fun-to-ride, air-cooled motorcycles of the 1970s. The new Scrambler’s engine, is the same 803cc V-Twin engine of the Monster 795, and makes about 76PS power and offers 68Nm of torque at 5750rpm.
The Scrambler promises to be a capable, fun bike with adequate performance to keep both experienced and new riders entertained. Old school bikers will particularly appreciate the ergonomics and simple, fun-to-ride elements of the Scrambler, which we have already documented in our initial impressions and first ride review
